Staff, Software Engineer - Simulation Vehicle Modeling
About this role
Description: Develop and own high-fidelity truck and vehicle dynamics models for simulation. Design and scale robustness testing frameworks for autonomy software. Partner with autonomy engineering teams to implement vehicle model requirements. Execute full software development lifecycle activities primarily in C++ within a Linux environment. Mentor engineers and communicate technical direction across teams. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields with 3-10+ years of experience. Proficiency in C++, Python, ROS/ROS2, CMake, and Linux. Strong background in physics-based modeling of ground vehicles. Experience with statistical validation metrics and automated testing pipelines. Ability to drive technical consensus and maintain key technical systems.
