Applied ML Engineer - Content Developer (Optimization & Foundations)

Requirements: 5+ years of experience in shipping production software, with at least 2 years in production AI/ML. Ability to implement optimizers from first principles and instrument gradient flow, learning-rate schedules, and regularization diagnostics. Working fluency in probability and information theory (likelihood, entropy, KL divergence). Capability to build a course artifact to production standard, including an instrumented optimizer and analytical brief. Hands-on experience with Python, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch, Jupyter, Docker, and cloud VMs (AWS/GCP/Azure). Public writing samples demonstrating technical explanation ability, including documentation and open-source projects. Strong reproducibility discipline (pinned dependencies, containers, seeded runs, documented decoding parameters). Proficient in professional written English. Remote work modality (home office).
