Senior Backend Engineer (Go) (Location - Australia or New Zealand)

Description: Creative Fabrica is a subscription platform for creators, designers, and crafters, offering AI tools and a vast content library. The role is fully remote for candidates in New Zealand, Australia East Coast, or nearby time zones, focusing on backend systems for AI product generation. Requirements: Extensive experience in building and scaling backend services in Go within high-traffic SaaS environments. Proven ability to design distributed microservice architectures and manage asynchronous processing with tools like Kafka and SQS. Deep knowledge of AWS services (EKS, S3, Lambda) and relational databases, preferably Postgres. Strong production discipline including observability, performance profiling, and automated testing. Excellent written and spoken English, with a strong sense of ownership over system reliability and quality. Pragmatic, self-directed, and able to define approaches without fully specified briefs.
