Senior/Staff Software Engineer

Description: Looma is an in-store digital media platform focused on storytelling and education. Seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer to enhance Looma’s Marketplace product for advertisers and retailers. Role involves backend-first development, contributing across the web stack, and evolving the backend architecture. Requirements: Experience in building and shipping production software in ambiguous environments. Proven ability to improve engineering quality in existing codebases while delivering features. Strong ownership, product judgment, technical curiosity, and ability to use AI coding agents effectively. Familiarity with GCP, Go, Postgres, Redis, BigQuery, and Angular is a plus, but not mandatory. Benefits: Competitive compensation package with base salary and stock options.
