Distributed Systems Engineer (Data Platform)

Description: Join Censys as a Senior Distributed Systems Engineer to build scalable, data-driven services for Internet intelligence. Work on distributed infrastructure for Internet-wide scanning, DNS resolution, and certificate ingestion. Requirements: 5+ years of software engineering experience in distributed systems (data pipelines, databases, services). Proficient in object-oriented programming (Go preferred) and familiar with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience with message queue technologies (AWS Kinesis, Google Pub/Sub, Kafka) and databases (BigTable, Cloud Spanner, HBase, Cassandra). Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts (scalability, fault tolerance, reliability) and familiarity with AI. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineers and product managers.
