- 5+ years professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3)
- Experience operating Aurora/PostgreSQL in production, including multi-AZ failover, read replicas, and replica lag monitoring
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and ECS/Fargate
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with deployment automation and tested rollback paths, including rollback drills
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tooling (OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, or similar)
- Experience with load testing (k6 or similar) and operating services against latency SLOs and error budgets
- Security-first mindset: experience with vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and compliance/hardening practices
- Experience supporting SOC 2 (or similar) audit evidence and client security reviews
- Experience with incident response, on-call rotations, and root-cause analysis
- Substantial background working with large, complex systems
- Ability to overlap US business hours
- Bachelor's degree required
