Web Developer-Contract

Description: Seeking an experienced Web Developer with deep WordPress expertise for ongoing development, optimization, and maintenance of public-facing web presence. Collaborate with Marketing team to build and refine web pages, implement new functionality, and ensure a well-maintained and scalable WordPress environment. Requirements: 5+ years of professional web development experience, focusing on WordPress. Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (vanilla and/or modern frameworks). Hands-on experience building and customizing WordPress themes and plugins from scratch. Familiarity with WordPress VIP, page builders (e.g., Elementor, Gutenberg), and integrating platforms like HubSpot and Salesforce. Understanding of web performance optimization, Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, and WordPress security best practices. Experience with Git-based version control workflows and ability to work independently in a remote environment. Benefits: Hourly pay range of $75 – $85/hour, commensurate with experience. Remote position based in the U.S. with optional quarterly travel for in-person events.
