Senior Software Engineer - Automation

Description: UpDoc is an early-stage startup creating a clinically validated AI agent for chronic disease management, founded by Stanford physicians. Seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Automation to streamline high-friction processes across engineering, operations, and compliance through reliable software. This is a fully remote position. Requirements: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in backend, platform, or developer productivity roles. Strong Python skills and experience in building backend services, APIs, and reliable production systems. Ability to transform ambiguous problems into effective technical solutions independently. Strong judgment in system design, testing, reliability, and maintainability with a history of end-to-end ownership. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical teams.
