Senior Data Engineer - Data Platform & Engineering

Description: Join carsales as a Senior Data Engineer, owning a significant domain of the data platform and serving as a technical anchor for the team. Collaborate with Product & Technology Teams to enhance customer experience through data-driven insights and scalable data platforms. Requirements: Deep expertise in SQL and Snowflake, including clustering, pruning, and warehouse sizing. Expert-level experience with dbt Cloud, model architecture, and testing standards. Strong Python engineering practices for pipeline development. Proven experience with event-driven architecture (RabbitMQ or equivalent). Solid Postgres experience in production pipeline contexts. Familiarity with .NET / C# is a plus. Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and security practices. Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
