What You’ll Do The Director, Publications and Scientific Communications will support the development and tactical execution of the publication strategy for acoramidis. This role includes serving as a publication lead, providing hands-on support throughout the publication planning and development cycle to ensure the quality of deliverables and compliant alignment with publication initiatives, organizational goals, and medical strategic imperatives. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in publication planning, scientific communications and publication development, and medical affairs, along with familiarity with real-world evidence (RWE) publications. Responsibilities Support the development and execution of the publication strategy for studies (primarily RWE but may include clinical and preclinical), helping ensure alignment with medical strategic objectives and compliance with industry best practices (e.g., GPP, ICMJE, PRISMA, CONSORT, etc.). Manage the development, review, and submission of manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations across real-world evidence studies, and health economics outcomes research (HEOR) preclinical and clinical trials. Collaborate with internal and external authors, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and research partners to develop high-impact scientific publications. Support timely and high-quality execution of publication plans, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders and external agencies. Support the development of medical communication materials for the medical affairs team and cross-functional partners, including timely provision of information and resources needed for internal training. Support identification of opportunities for integrating RWE into the broader scientific communication strategy. Where You’ll Work This is a U.S.-based remote role that will require quarterly, or as needed visits to our San Francisco Office. Who You Are Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent) in life sciences, medicine, or related field 10+ years of experience in scientific publications, medical communications, or medical affairs within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry Strong expertise in real-world evidence publications, including experience publishing observational studies, registry data, and HEOR findings Proven track record of contributing to publication strategies and delivering high-impact peer-reviewed publications and congress materials Deep understanding of scientific writing, data interpretation, and statistical concepts related to clinical and real-world research Familiarity with publication management systems (e.g.: iEnvision) and strong knowledge of industry guidelines and best practices (GPP, ICMJE, etc.) Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred: CMPP certification, Experience in cardiology and/or rare diseases , Prior medical writing experience Some travel required (25%) to attend SF headquarters and conferences At BridgeBio, we strive to provide a market-competitive total rewards package, including base pay, an annual performance bonus, company equity, and generous health benefits. Below is the anticipated salary range for candidates for this role who will work in California. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type, and length of experience within the industry, educational background, location of residence and performance during the interview process. BridgeBio is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions based in other states.
