DevSecOps Engineer

Description: Virta Health is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to enhance their application security program and protect sensitive health information. The role involves collaborating with teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle and improve security practices. Requirements: Experience securing cloud-native applications, particularly in Kubernetes and GCP environments. Strong knowledge of networking, identity management (IAM), encryption, and web application vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10). Excellent communication skills to convey complex security concepts. Hands-on experience in application security, secure coding, vulnerability management, and security testing. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform, and development experience in Go and/or Python. 5-7+ years of experience, with at least 2 years in a high-growth startup or similar environment. Benefits: Competitive compensation range of $179,451 - $187,900 based on qualifications and experience. Remote-first work environment with office hubs in Denver and San Francisco.
