Staff Engineer, AI Productivity

Description: Hightouch is seeking a Staff AI Productivity Engineer to enhance engineering productivity using AI coding tools. The role involves building infrastructure, tooling, and documentation to improve AI agent effectiveness across the codebase. Requirements: Strong software engineering fundamentals and ability to understand complex backend code. Deep hands-on experience with AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Copilot). Experience in writing effective agent documentation and improving agent output. Proven track record in building developer tools or infrastructure. Comfortable working across the stack, including CI/CD and cloud infrastructure. Benefits: Salary range of $180,000 - $400,000 USD per year, location independent. Meaningful equity compensation in the form of ISO options with early exercise and a 10-year post-termination exercise window.
