Existing LPL engineering and project engineering job descriptions emphasize coordination of engineering deliverables, client interaction, project controls, and technical execution. Position Summary The Project Manager – Engineering is responsible for managing the engineering execution of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects from initial proposal through final drawing package delivery. This role serves as the primary liaison between clients and engineering teams, ensuring project deliverables are completed accurately, on schedule, and in accordance with project requirements. The successful candidate will combine strong technical knowledge, project management expertise, and exceptional customer service skills to deliver outstanding results. Essential Responsibilities
- Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously from proposal through project completion.
- Coordinate internal and external engineering teams to deliver accurate, complete, and timely drawing plan sets and design packages.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between LPL Solar, clients, owners, and third-party engineering partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) system design.
- Experience supporting battery energy storage system (BESS) design and engineering.
- Experience with solar civil engineering design, site layout, grading, drainage, and stormwater considerations.
- Familiarity with utility-scale EPC project delivery.
- Experience coordinating third-party engineering consultants and multidisciplinary design teams.
- Working knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and industry practices related to solar and energy storage systems. Core Competencies
