Advanced Program Performance Management Specialist
About this role

General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for an Advanced Program Performance Management (PPM / EVM) Analyst. The position provides an opportunity to enhance the performance and profitability of an organization that supports some of our nation's fundamental defense services on the Strategic Systems program. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, MS Project, and PowerPoint
- Earned Value Management (EVM) or scheduling tool knowledge
- Solid knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles
- Experience with program contracts, program management, or functional support processes
- Experience with program requirements across planning, development, and/or production phases What you'll experience:
- Developing and maintaining program time-phased cost and/or schedule baselines within contract parameters
- Analyzing program performance (historical and predictive), monitoring Estimates at Complete (EAC), and presenting findings to program management
- Identifying and analyzing critical paths and driving paths to schedule-specific milestones
- Supporting all necessary program reviews and meetings, including SEITs, Financial, EV Metrics, and Risk reviews
- Contributing to root cause analyses, corrective actions, and tactical planning for program completion What you bring to the table:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, MS Project, and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of Earned Value Management systems and scheduling tools
- Experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting program performance data including budgets, schedules, and staffing requirements
- Ability to coordinate EAC, risk and opportunity, and Management Reserve data with Finance analysts
