Data Platform Engineer

Description: Seeking a Data Platform Engineer to scale a SaaS platform for more customers and data. Role involves working with data pipelines to transform raw data into enhanced datasets for analysts and scientists. Requirements: 5+ years in a similar role. Experience with data pipelines in AWS. Proficient in Python and SQL. Experience with BI tools like Tableau for data model optimization. Familiar with streaming and batch pipeline construction. Experience with DBT or Dataform, Apache Airflow, Docker, and Kubernetes. Capable of processing large-scale data pipelines (~1TB/day). Knowledge of BigQuery or Amazon Redshift. Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience in creating documentation and diagrams for team alignment. Strong skills in breaking down system designs into tasks with realistic estimates. Passionate about automation and monitoring.
