Backend AI Engineer

Description: Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs for AI model integrations across Nexxa's products. Own core AI/ML infrastructure including model-serving pipelines and data pipelines. Architect scalable systems for real-time and batch AI workloads in manufacturing and logistics. Collaborate with engineers and product teams to create reusable backend capabilities. Requirements: 4–8+ years of experience in backend software engineering or ML/platform engineering. Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js; Python knowledge is a plus. Experience with production backend systems, distributed systems, and databases. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Strong understanding of system design fundamentals and data pipeline operations.
