Senior Platform Engineer

Description: Lead the transition from a traditional DevOps model to platform-as-a-product at Nearmap. Design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and observability platforms for engineering teams. Treat the platform as a product, owning initiatives from design to operation and communicating with stakeholders. Requirements: 5+ years in platform or infrastructure engineering roles. 3+ years with public cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux infrastructure. Proficient in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. Experience in CI/CD, logging, monitoring tools, and observability within Kubernetes. Strong scripting and deployment automation skills.
