Senior Software Engineer, Test Core

Description: Vanta's mission is to help businesses earn and prove trust through continuous security monitoring. Senior Software Engineers drive complex technical work, shape systems, and mentor other engineers. The Test Core team builds the runtime platform for security checks, focusing on reliability, correctness, and performance. Requirements: Strong experience in building and operating reliable, scalable backend systems. Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects with undefined problems or solutions. Strong systems thinking in backend design, APIs, and data modeling. Proficient in debugging and reasoning about system performance and scalability. Experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, MongoDB, and observability tools is a plus. Open to using AI to enhance skills and work efficiency. Benefits: Competitive salary and equity.
