- Gearbox Software As a QA Analyst, you will be responsible for testing gameplay features, identifying and documenting defects, and working closely with the development team to ensure issues are properly understood, prioritised, and resolved. You will play an important role throughout the development cycle, from testing new features and builds through to regression testing and release preparation. Key Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on functional, gameplay, regression, exploratory, and integration testing.
- Test new features and gameplay systems against design and technical requirements.
- Identify, reproduce, document, and track bugs through to resolution.
- Create clear and detailed bug reports, including reproduction steps, expected vs. actual results, severity, and supporting evidence.
- Perform regression testing to ensure fixes and new features do not introduce additional issues.
- Test across different game builds and configurations and identify issues specific to particular platforms or environments.
- Work closely with Developers, Designers, Producers, and other QA team members to investigate and resolve issues.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, bug triage, and other Agile development processes.
- Help maintain and improve QA processes, test plans, checklists, and documentation.
- Identify potential quality risks early in the development process and communicate them to the appropriate stakeholders.
