Staff Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure

Description: Join Patreon as a Senior/Staff Software Engineer, Data Infrastructure to support the mission of funding the creative class. Work with the Data Foundations team to build and maintain the infrastructure that powers data products and analytics. Requirements: 8+ years of software engineering experience, with 4+ years in data or platform infrastructure. Proficient in architecting batch and stream processing systems at scale (e.g., Airflow, Spark, Kafka). Strong programming skills in Python and SQL; familiarity with Java, Scala, or Go is a plus. Experience with cloud infrastructure and various data stores (e.g., S3, MySQL, DynamoDB).
