Staff Platform Engineer, Fanatics Markets - UK

Description: Join Fanatics Markets as a Staff Platform Engineer to set technical direction and design platform abstractions. Collaborate with senior engineers and product leadership to ensure platform stability, security, and compliance while enabling rapid innovation. Requirements: 8+ years in platform engineering or DevOps with experience in scalable, high-availability cloud-native environments (AWS/Kubernetes). Proficient in AI code collaborators (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) and capable of optimizing development workflows. Strong programming skills in Java and Python (Golang preferred) and experience with IaC frameworks (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation). Experience in building CI/CD pipelines and implementing observability and incident management frameworks. Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
