Staff Machine Learning Engineer

Description: Design, build, and deploy backend generative AI solutions for automated workflows. Convert complex R&D problems into production-ready software, ensuring robustness, scalability, and security. Shape machine learning architecture and maintain ownership of production-grade code. Collaborate with a remote team of applied scientists and engineers on cutting-edge AI implementations. Requirements: Strong background in scalable backend engineering solutions in cloud environments. Ability to navigate ambiguity and translate challenges into technical solutions. Familiarity with AI tools to enhance R&D without compromising code quality. Deep sense of ownership and accountability for production code. Excellent communication skills for alignment with product and project managers. Familiarity with Python, Kubernetes, GenAI, machine learning concepts, or frontend interfaces is a plus. Benefits: Base salary range of $195,000 - $235,000 CAD, with variable pay options including bonuses and equity.
