Fractional Data Scientist (Advisor Network)

Description: Arootah seeks experienced Data Scientists to consult for clients in the alternative investment industry, including hedge funds and family offices. Advisors will provide expert advice on data infrastructure, tools, and analysis to enhance investment processes. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s Degree is a plus. 6+ years of experience as a Data Scientist in a Hedge Fund, Investment Management firm, or Family Office. Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau), and Big Data technologies (e.g., Apache Spark). Strong understanding of financial concepts and ability to work with structured and unstructured data. Excellent communication skills to articulate ideas and recommend solutions.
